This category includes my favorite games I played each year that did not release in that calendar year. This criteria wasn’t always enforced, so early entries might seem contradictory at first. I try not to repeat games/ count games I constantly return to unless something big changed (i.e nominating Minecraft every year). 2023 onwards include nominees, how fun!
